ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Working in mixed media with the primary being oil pastel and acrylic paints on paper and canvas. A member of the Woodstock Artists Association while living in the hamlet, Anthony's work was shown and sold in their juried exhibition. He is wholly self taught and truly visionary - intuitive. Born April 29, 1948 in the city of Sliema on the Island of Malta, Tony is the youngest of 5 brothers. The family immigrated to the United States - NYC in 1958, after the death of their father. He has lived and worked in Portland, Maine these past 10 years, relishing his proximity to the sea .
