ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I developed an interest in sculpture after the birth of my children. The relationship between the various forms in a three-dimensional structure intrigues me. I believe that art is an international form of communication and people and events in the world around me play a large part in my work and choice of subject. As part of my exploration of different shapes and materials, I have branched out into stained glass, which is currently my primary focus. Glass is a very stimulating and exciting material to work with because of its many different textures and colours. It enhances and inspires my work. The art and craft aspects of stained glass seem to merge and as such present very interesting challenges. My work has been bought by private collectors. I have also participated in a number of exhibitions including Art '94 (Business Design Centre (London)), Bonham's (London), Cork Street Gallery (London), Ben-Uri (London), Atlantis Gallery (The Old Truman Breweries, London), and others.
