ARTIST'S STATEMENT

These drawings were done in response to poetry I read about Mexico.

I'm 57 years old, a housewife formerly living in Edinburgh, and now based in California. I have lived on four continents, sometimes in places where paper and biro or pencil were the only art materials available. I've never had any formal art training or sold any of my work.
